David Shaw- Dave is the owner and lead guide of Wild Imagination. He has a masters degree in Wildlife Biology and has worked as a naturalist/wilderness guide in Central America, Alaska, the Rocky Mountains, and Antarctica. In addition to Wild Imagination, Dave works as a research biologist at the Alaska Bird Observatory, and is a freelance writer and photographer. He has a particular passion for Neotropical birds, and spends as much time as possible exploring the forests of South and Central America. He lives in Fairbanks, Alaska with his partner Amy and various pets.
